32 Collective Effects
Collective effects couple the tracked particles through self-consistent fields or material interactions. The current tracker assembles space-charge fields between its two half drifts, then transforms the resulting fields back into the reference frame before the momentum kick.
This chapter is intentionally marked planned while each implemented model is checked against the source and its verification cases. It will be expanded into separate, source-backed sections for:
- Electrostatic space charge and Green-function choices.
- Open and periodic boundary conditions.
- Wake fields.
- Particle-matter interactions.
- Mesh convergence and decomposition constraints.
